One exasperated patient quipped, “Making chyawanprash feels like a marathon!” It’s moments like these that prompt me to steer them towards a simpler yet equally effective remedy: Ayurvedic Kadha.

Interestingly, the mere mention of kadha often triggers nostalgic tales of mothers brewing the aromatic concoction during rainy and winter seasons. For many, kadha is more than just a remedy; it’s a cherished tradition embedded in their family’s fabric. 

I recall an episode from 13 years ago when I taught a young girl the art of making and consuming kadha. Coming from a modest background, affording medicine was a luxury for her.
