 Satmya: The Ayurvedic Concept of Suitability and Adaptibility

 What is Satmya?

In simple terms, Satmya is the body’s ability to adapt to and tolerate different substances, habits, and environments. It measures an individual’s resilience and flexibility in the face of change. According to Ayurveda, each person has a unique constitution, or Prakriti, that determines their inherent strengths and weaknesses.
