The P.M announced JantaCurfew on 22nd March which was followed by an country wide applaud at 5 p.m. This was enough to stir the buzz about clapping. How can clapping kill coronavirus?

Well, it cannot. And our honorable Prime Minister never said so!

The P.M. requested the nation to clap to show a gesture of gratitude! It was meant to thank the doctors and healthcare workers. It was to boost the broken morale of people who are facing their worst fears.

The act was meant to alleviate stress and uplift people’s mood, even if for just 5 minutes!

And it was quite successful in doing so. Because if you have checked those videos or stories then you know it! People did smile at 5 p.m. that day!

Apart from sprucing the mood, clapping hands also has many other benefits!!!!

A baby’s first lesson

Striking the hands is one of the first gestures a baby learns. It emotes gratitude, appreciation, happiness and joy. This simple expression elates the state of mind. But that’s not all. It also bestows surprising health benefits.

It is lesser-known fact that something as simple as clapping can endow good health! But it is true. Clapping is linked to lower the risk of blood sugar, blood pressure and heart diseases. Needless to repeat it is very beneficial for mental health and brain function!

So, no matter how you are feeling now, switch to your happy mood by clapping your hands.
