How Ayurveda can help?
According to Ayurveda CFS is the result of aggravated Vata dosha. It generates negative effects at the physical and mental levels, causing feelings of intense fatigue, muscle cramps and pains. These are also caused by a weak nervous system, and disturbed sleep patterns. The Ayurvedic treatment includes balancing of Vata dosha, administering Rasayana herbs that act on the symptoms and rejuvenate body tissues, relax the mind and strengthen the nervous system.
Home remedies you can try:
A few self-care measures that can help CFS cases include:
- Plan your activities and avoid overexertion and emotional stress. Take time to sufficiently relax.
- Go to sleep and get up at the same time each day. Limit daytime napping and avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine.
- Do normal activity and do not indulge in overexertion.
A word of advice:
Perform each activity at a comfortable pace. Learn when to stop and how much of activity you can handle without getting exhausted. Maintain a regular and manageable daily routine to avoid a relapse or increase of symptoms.
Testimonial: Ayurvedic treatment for Chronic fatigue syndrome
I was newly married, doing two jobs at a time and that was exhausting. My family doctor could not figure out what was wrong with me. The fatigue would get into my nerves and affect our married life. I consulted Dr. Brahmanand Nayak. It was the turning point of my life. He understood my problem and explained for the first time about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Only then I understood that it’s a real problem. He advised a few lifestyle changes and treated me to come out of the disease within a year. I am so grateful to him.
