Human emotions come in all shades. Love, possessiveness, jealousy, and hatred form the rainbow of our emotions. But the dark shades of human emotions often cause damage to your own health. That’s why I bring you this blog sharing some insights on ‘How to overcome jealousy?’

Ayurveda has always emphasized the importance of living a righteous life. And now researchers too are agreeing to the health impact of your emotions. Positive emotions like love, laughter, and gratitude have multiple health benefits. Whereas, negative emotions like jealousy or possessiveness can result in chronic diseases!

Studies say positive emotions help improve sleep, relieve stress, and promotes longevity. While scientific evidence suggests negative emotions like anger or jealousy result in high blood pressure and heart diseases.

How to overcome jealousy?

Here are 8 steps to overcome feelings of jealousy. The key is to acknowledge your feelings and then rationalize them. Check out these simple ways to deal with your demons.

1. Accept that you get jealous

Jealousy is like a disease that needs to be diagnosed and treated with care. Realizing and accepting the problem is half the work done in tackling the situation.

2. Make gratitude your attitude

The mere fact that you are breathing right at this moment is a reason big enough to be thankful. Make a habit of reflecting on things that you have and then pray for all that you want.
