The 5000-year-old Ayurveda suggests living a holistic life by following certain disciplinary principles and a holistic health system comprising diet, yoga, massage, detoxification, herbal remedies, and meditation. Ayurveda improves not only a person’s health but also his well-being, behavior, and state of mind.

Akshay Kumar, who is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood, has always vouched for Ayurveda. The actor has been following Ayurveda for the past 28 years. The actor says that more and more people should respect and follow the “God-given” treasure of Ayurveda. From time to time, the actor likes to spend some days in an Ayurveda center. He said he feels light and healthy as he follows the Ayurvedic way of living. Once he spent 14 days in an Ayurvedic ashram and said he felt heavenly as there was no TV, phone, junk food, or branded clothes, only simple clothing like white kurta pyjama and simple nutritious food and lots of Ayurvedic treasure. He believes that in the form of Ayurveda, God has given our country a big treasure and we should respect it if we are looking for good health. 

Akshay says the Ayurvedic techniques are not only natural, but also scientific, and every treatment has a logic. “Let’s show this world what power our Indian techniques like Ayurveda has. Try it.
